Insanity defined.

This was my garage before I started selling extra games in September 06.

Three hundred pound potato chips I always say.  You can't have just one!

Frogger (Sega/Gremlin 1981)  SOLD!

This is a very nice fully working Frogger.  It has had a modern and reliable switching power supply installed for trouble free operation.  The pictures pretty much say it all.  Let me know if you are interested.

Star Wars (Atari 1983)  SOLD!

This is a very nice Star Wars that I built with leftover parts I had from another Star Wars restoration.  This game has been sold.

Missile Command (Atari 1980)  SOLD!

This Missile command turned out very nicely after it was restored.  It has been sold.  Please visit the restorations page for more details on the restoration.

Zaxxon (Sega/Gremlin 1982)  SOLD!

This is a fully working Zaxxon in average condition.  It runs great the way it is but if you want a show piece some work will be required.  The marquee light does not work but that should be an easy fix.  The pictures pretty much say it all.  Let me know if you are interested.

Ikari Warriors (Tradewest 1986)  SOLD!

This is an Ikari Warriors kit (non Jamma) in a Mad Planets (Qbert style) cabinet. It has been completely disassembled and rebuilt from the ground up. It looks really nice! Please visit the restorations page for more details.

This machine is super nice the way it is but with a little work you could easily convert it to a vertical MAME or JAMMA box to put other vertical games like Pac-Man and Galaga into it. Your imagination is the limit! There is some slight Ikari Warriors burn-in on the monitor but it is hardly noticeable when the game is being played.

ADDED BONUS: As an added incentive I will also throw in the original coin door assembly (pretty beaten up) and the original Mad Planets control panel (also pretty beaten up) that has two SNK LS-30 Rotary joysticks installed in it (the knobs are stuck to the shafts because they were over tightened by somebody before I got the game).

PLEASE NOTE: The monitor (Electrohome G07-CBO) is original and un-restored. I have replaced the flyback and some of the caps but recently I have noticed that occasionally (it has only happened once so far) the color has started to fade at the sides. I had it running last night for a long time (8/7/04) and the color looked great the whole time. A full cap kit may bring the color back to perfect all the time or you can find new monitors (arcadeshop dot com) for very reasonable prices online. Also: I built the power supply assembly myself from parts that were already in the cabinet when I got it. The fuses are there to basically protect from a straight across short. You could probably do a little research and figure out the appropriate amperage needed for the fuses if you really wanted to.

PLEASE NOTE: This game no longer has the new coin door assembly but you can easily get one that will fit from Happ Controls or clean up and use the old one that is included in the sale.

Galaga (Namco 1981)  SOLD!

This is a dedicated Galaga arcade game manufactured by Midway circa 1981. It has seen some use but looks pretty good. It works just fine and is a blast to play. It has a rapid fire chip already installed. This machine would be a great candidate for restoration or to just use as a really fun 'daily driver'.

Tempest (Atari 1980)  TRADED!

I got this Tempest cocktail as part of a mini bulk deal.  It was really cool but I didn't have space for a cocktail.  I have a fellow collector fried that really wanted it.  He took the time to track down a really nice project Asteroids (he knew I was looking for an Asteroids) and we did an as-is trade.  Good deal for both of us!  :-)

Domino Man (Bally Midway 1983)  TRADED!

This is a really rare cocktail but I don't really have room for cocktails so I traded it to a fellow local collector for a nice (but unworking) Qix.  It was cleaned up quite a bit nicer than this before I traded it.

1943: The Battle of Midway (Capcom 1987)  SOLD!

This was a really cool game and I was sorry to see it go but unfortunately I didn't have room for it anymore so off it went to a new owner in Montana.

Elevator Action (Taito 1983)  SOLD!

I picked up this game to convert to an Arkanoid but then I found a Qix that I plan to make into a switchable cabinet (Qix and Arkanoid).  I found a local collector that wanted this cabinet so I sold it to him as-is.
